Windjammer Angelique
We offer 3, 4 and 6 day sailing vacations on the coast of Maine with special weekly cruises featuring folk musicians, artists, and on board naturalists.
A little offshore excursion to look for whales. We got skunked, but what a day of sailing. Bonus points if you can name the lighthouse!
Here is a fun “where are we now”. Two photos should be enough clues for you!
We just finished up back to back trips of yoga and art! Both pair so well with windjamming. Yoga is nourishing. Creating art is nourishing. Windjamming is nourishing.
Update: I do believe this cabin has filled!
Silly question, but does anyone want to get out on the water in August? We have one cabin (double occupancy) available on the 3-night cruise August 17-20, $1,050 per person. Head on over to our website to book it, or call Candace in the office 800-282-9989.
Photo: swim call! Look at all the guests in the water! Do you know what harbor this is?

How to improve upon the childhood classic Rice Krispies treats? Add some salt to that sweet by substituting Rice Krispies with Ruffles. Crunchy AND chewy. Salty AND sweet. Amazingly good!
Chef Bradley has a knack for kicking comfort foods up a notch. Go on. Try this at home!

Seems like a good time to introduce Pamela and Rose, our two yoga instructors and retreat leaders. Pamela has sailed with us many times, on a yoga cruise even. Pamela's classes are accessible to all levels of student and her teaching style is approachable and conversational. Rose has been teaching alignment based yoga for over 20 years. Currently, she has been designing and leading yoga retreats with an emphasis on universal energy and connecting to the earth.
Just one cabin left! Join Pamela and Rose for some self-care and good times. To book - www.sailangelique.com

Fun in the shipyard. Last week Angelique’s hull was stripped to bare steel using a 40,000 psi pressure washer, and then she got her first coat of epoxy primer. More to come!!
Cover is off 😬. Please Mother Nature, be kind and let us paint 🤞
A little before and after shot of the wheel. I’m pretty happy with how it turned out.
Up to a foot of snow this first week of fit out! This is no April Fools joke. Cover will still be on for it, thankfully. We’ll post some snow photos in a couple days. Maybe a crew snowball fight?
Folks, we are officially starting fit out next week. Angelique is scheduled for haul out April 10. And we’ll be sailing in 8 weeks. Wheee!

Proud to offer sustainable, wind-powered travel!
With just two weeks until crew arrive, it's all beginning to happen! In the shop, we are finishing up projects and starting new ones. The ships wheel project is off-camera here but set up to receive a dozen coats of varnish. Blocks are serviced and getting shined up, and OBIE is in position, sanded, and ready for paint.
