Happy Thanksgiving! This year and every year, I am thankful to each and every one of you who supports my small business!

I am still working on my recovery - I will likely have more to update after my next doctors appointment.

I apologize for not updating you sooner but I just found out that I have a torn rotator cuff after many weeks of tests and scans. The surgery to repair it will be on November 14th.

As you know, it kills me to not be behind the chair taking care of my clients but without use of my hands, I cannot do what I love. It is my hope that this surgery will allow me to be back in the salon with all of you.

There are a lot of stylists in the building who have offered to help me out and if you would like a referral to one of them or someone else, please let me know.

Unfortunately, I do not know how long I will be out. My recovery time is a minimum of 8 weeks which would put as at least at the middle of January. I will keep you all updated with my progress but please know I am doing everything I can to get back into the salon.

Hello Valued Clients and Friends,

In order to be as transparent as possible, I wanted to provide you all a quick update. On August 4th, my son and I were driving and were hit by another driver. During the crash, I hit my left elbow and ribs on the door but thought I was fine. Two weeks later, my left arm was in excruciating pain. After trying to rest it and recover naturally, the symptoms have gotten worse. I am currently under a Dr.’s care, have been doing physical therapy and acupuncture to hopefully rid myself of the pain.

While I have tried to carry on through the pain, it is just too much and in consultation with my Dr, I feel that to truly allow myself time to recover, I must go on short term disability. As you know, it kills me to not be behind the chair taking care of my clients but without use of my hands, I cannot do what I love.

There are a lot of stylists in the building who have offered to help me out and if you would like a referral to one of them or someone else, please let me know. Also, please be sure you are scheduling your holiday appointments now so I can be sure to get you in as we approach the end of the year.

A Note From Erin (For her clients!)

Summer is about making memories with these two! With only so many summers before they are adults, I'll be adjusting my hours this summer to spend quality time with my boys!

Until school begins again (Labor Day), I'll only have availability on Tuesdays (9am-9pm), Wednesdays (9am-9pm) and Thursdays (9am-4pm) so please schedule accordingly!
