IntuBlade was founded by a former Army Medic who grew tired of witnessing preventable deaths of patients due to faulty laryngoscope designs.

Determined to find a solution, Dr. Napier spent the next decade working on prototypes and eventually created IntuBlade, a medical device with a patented lens clearing technology that ensures rapid and successful intubations every use.

IntuBlade aims to eliminate complications and save lives by reducing the number of unnecessary infections, brain damage, and deaths caused by intubation procedures, which currently cost a collective $9 billion annually.

Providing safer and more effective intubation solutions is at the core of what we do at IntuBlade.

A question we often get asked is, "Does the fluid spray from the IntuBlade device pose a risk of aspiration?"

Here's our answer: Patient safety is our top priority. Our device's spray function is designed to clear the lens for better visibility during intubation, and we've taken every measure to ensure it doesn't compromise patient safety. The spray's volume and pressure are precisely calibrated to minimize aspiration risk. Furthermore, the spray is typically applied before intubation, when the patient's airway protection reflexes are still intact, further reducing the likelihood of aspiration.

As always, we recommend that clinicians exercise appropriate judgment and precautions based on each patient's unique condition and circumstances.

IntuBlade ensures a 100% first-pass airway success rate! But how do we make this happen?

IntuBlade's innovative video laryngoscope with a patented spray function delivers unparalleled visibility during intubations, eliminating the key issue of lens fogging or debris blockage, the primary causes of intubation failure.

Our device not only provides clear visual access to the airway but also aids in precise navigation, ensuring that the airway is accessed correctly on the first attempt. This significantly reduces complications, shortens procedure time, and enhances patient safety.

By ensuring 100% first-pass success, IntuBlade is revolutionizing the way medical professionals approach intubations. We're committed to improving patient care and creating a safer, more efficient future in medical procedures.
