Zahra Mojdeh Zahiraleslamzadeh is truly one of the best there is, period 😎
Zahra Mojdeh Zahiraleslamzadeh, the Mysore program leader at Breathe Together Yoga, is offering a series of Adjustment Clinics this October and November. We will apply a therapeutic approach to the asanas of the Ashtanga Vinyasa Primary Series as a platform to learn how to support yoga practitioners during their practice. This is available to all levels of yoga practitioners and will be offered over five, 3-hour sessions, totaling 15 hours.
Each meeting will cover a specific set of postures and how best to support students in these postures:
🙏Sun Oct 16: Fundamentals - Dyadic exercises, holding space, grounding and more
☀Sat Oct 29: Focus on Surya Namaskar A & B, we review the alignment principles
🧘Sun Oct 30: Examine seated postures: specifically, how the role of the pelvis and how supports the spine.
🤸♀️Sat Nov 12: Investigate twists, backbends and inversions, with an emphasis on the safety of the shoulders
⭐Sun Nov 13: We integrate everything from the previous sessions, and review some of the more advanced postures in the series.
Partner work will be involved for all sessions. It is recommended that students take the entire series though there is the option to join for individual session(s).
