I’m not even sure what method this is… it for sure isn’t IBE®️!
She was told it was “hand tied” and yes the hair used is “hand tied hair”
The method used to install hair is the most important thing!!! IBE®️ takes your hair and scalp into the upmost importance!!!! And secondly… not all hair is the same either.

Unfortunately searching on Instagram will get you tons of results when looking for extensions.
HOWEVER!!! There are a few things as a consumer you need to do in order to get what you REALLY want. Here are a few tips to make sure you get the quality extensions you are searching for.
1. If a stylist locator is available USE IT! There are tons of dishonest stylist who “claim” to be certified or specialize in a method. Look them up in the methods website and make sure they really are certified!
2. Contact them and ASK QUESTIONS!!! How many extension clients do they have? How long have they been using this method? What was the education and certification process? Do they do other methods?
3. BEWARE OF THE BAIT AND SWITCH! Not all methods are created equal. Just because a method is faster to install and move up does not mean it’s better!!! Or better for your hair! If you want IBE®️ make sure that the stylist is certified and actually uses and has several clients wearing this method!
There are a lot of dishonest stylist using hashtags to get your attention. Stylists who are using other stylists photos.
Extensions are an investment! Just like a designer handbag! There’s the real thing and then there are a variety of knock offs! Sometimes you can spot a fake and sometimes you can’t. But in the end the quality and authenticity make a world of difference.

So as a client, do the research. If a stylist seems dishonest or tries to talk you into something else then keep looking! If they don’t want to answer your questions then seek another stylist!
