Narrated Abu Juhaifa:

All@h's Ap0stle came to us at noon and water for ablution was brought to him. After he had performed ablution, the remaining water was taken by the people and they started smearing their bodies with it (as a blessed thing). The Prophet offered two Rakat of the Zuhr prayer and then two Rakat of the 'Asr prayer while an 'Anza (spear-headed stick) was there (as a Sutra) in front of him. Abu Musa said: The Prophet asked for a tumbler containing water and washed both his hands and face in it and then threw a mouthful of water in the tumbler and said to both of us (Abu Musa and Bilal), "Drink from the tumbler and pour some of its water on your faces and chests."

Allah's Mess€nger ﷺ said to him: Accept glad tidings. Thereupon the desert Arab said: You shower glad tidings upon me very much;

then Allah's Mess€nger ﷺ turned towards Abu Musa and Bilal seemingly in a state of annoyance and said: Verily he has rejected glad tidings but you two should accept them. We said: Allah's Messenger, we have readily accepted them. Then All@h's Mess€nger ﷺ called for a cup of water and washed his hands in that and face too and put the saliva in it and then said: Drink out of it and pour it over your faces and over your chest and gladden yourselves. They took hold of the cup and did as Allah's Messenger ﷺ had commanded them to do. Thereupon Umm Salama called from behind the veil: Spare some water in your vessel for your mother also, and they also gave some water which had been spared for her.

Narrated Al-Miswar bin Makhrama and Marwan:

Urwa then started looking at the Companions of the Prophet. By All@h, whenever All@h's Ap0stle spat, the spittle would fall in the hand of one of them (i.e. the Pr0phet's companions) who would rub it on his face and skin;

if he ordered them they would carry his orders immediately;

and when they spoke to him, they would lower their voices and would not look at his face constantly out of respect. Urwa returned to his people and said, "O people! By All@h, I have been to the kings and to Caesar, Khosrau and An-Najashi, yet I have never seen any of them respected by his courtiers as much as M0hammad is respected by his companions. Imam Jalal Uddin Suyuti (RA) reports from Tabraani and Baihaqi who narrate from Hukaymah Bint Umaymah Radiallahu Anha that the Pr0phet of All@h Sallallahu Alahi Wasalam had a wooden bowl in which he used to ur!n@te in and it was placed under his bed. One night, the Pr0phet of All@h Sallallahu Alahi Wasalam searched for it but could not find it and asked for it saying, “Where is the bowl?” The members of the household replied “Umm Salamah’s slave girl Barrah drank from it” who came from Habashah with her. The Prophet of Allah Sallallahu Alahi Wasalam replied, “Surely, she has protected herself from the fire with a great wall.”

Imam NuruDin Al-Haythami (RA) said, “Its narrators are from the men of Sahih Bukhari.” (Majmauz Zawaaid p.270 & p.271 v.8)

“Abdullah Ibn Zubair رضى الله عنه narrated that he once came to R@sulullah صلى الله عليه وسلم whilst he was getting cupped. When he had finished, he said, “O Abdullah! Take this blood with you and dispose of it in such a place where no one will see you.” However, (instead of doing so), he took it and drank it. When he returned, Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wasallam asked, “Ya Abdullah! What did you do (with it)?” He replied, “I put it in the most hidden place I knew, where it will definitely be hidden from the people.” Rasulullah صلى الله عليه وسلم said, “Perhaps you drank it?” He replied in the affirmative. Rasulullah صلى الله عليه وسلم said, “Woe to the people from you and woe to you from the people!” The Sahabah then observed that the strength he acquired was from drinking that bl00d.

Ibn Abbas (ابن عباس) said: The first thing Allah created (خلق) was the pen (القلم). He ordered it to write. It said: What shall I write? He said: Write the fate (القدر). So it wrote what will happen from that day (اليوم) until the Day of judgement, then he created the Nun (النون, al-noon), then he raised the water and created the heavens with it and laid the earth (الأرض) on (على) the back (ظهر) of the Nun, the Nun moved and so did the earth, so it was fixed down with mountains (بالجبال).
