Let's meet Cassie Pierce, another one of our 2024 Hell on Hooves Summer Showdown Finale Invitational Barrel Racer 🔥

Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, Cassie has been working with horses since the age of 8. She started her journey with the Rowdy Riders 4-H group in Clackamas County, where her love for the sport began. Cassie’s first quarter horse, Phoebe’s Hot Salsa, from J Bar L Ranch, became her partner in achieving incredible milestones.

Together, Cassie and Salsa set the Western Horseman of Oregon interstate and state pole bending record with a blazing time of 19.272 seconds. Their partnership also brought home over $100,000 in lifetime earnings, 30 1D trophy saddles, and a filled WPRA permit in just 6 months.

Now in her 30s, Cassie has bred and trained a small herd of offspring from Salsa. She’s currently running 6-year-old Phoebe’s On Fire, aka Pyro, in jackpots and NPRA slack rodeos. This weekend, Pyro will make his first performance run at the Hell on Hooves Rodeo—don’t miss it!

THIS is why we do what we do.
THIS is what our souls were meant to do.
THIS is what makes all the blood, sweat, and tears WORTH it.

Ride For Rowdy was the most special, most rewarding, most emotional, most love of a benefit that we have ever put on.

Together, we raised roughly over $10,000 for a family and organization to put forth in their hearts and towards other families in the PNW for stillborn angels.

I’m having a hard time putting into words the feelings that I know we are all feeling today after the most amazing playday yesterday.

Stacy Jo and Kyle Rose, you are SPECIAL, your family is SPECIAL, your friends are SPECIAL, the support that showed up for you yesterday WAS INCREDIBLE. And to be able to be apart of it. Makes us feel ALL THE FEELS.

Rowdy J Rose will always hold a special place in all of our hearts.

Thank you to everyone that came out and supported yesterday. We cannot ever thank you enough for showing up, putting forth, and conquering even the most wildest of dreams for this family and organization.

We couldn’t do it without all of you.

Honoring Rowdy J Rose, a beautiful baby boy stillborn on November 9th, 2023 to Stacy Jo and Kyle Rose.
Proceeds will be donated to Hayden's Helping Hands, a non-profit foundation created for stillborn babies in the Pacific North West.
There will be a silent auction going on all day and will close when awards are given out. Donations are also welcome ❤️ We are still taking donations for the silent auction!
We will be in the Ely Indoor Arena.
Open ride in the arena from 7:30-8:45am. Please do not arrive to the fairgrounds before 7am.
There will be coffee and donuts while supplies last!
Start time 9am with special prayer for Rowdy and the Rose family 👼
RACE STARTS AT 10am!!
*Each event is $30 PER horse/rider PER event plus $10 office fee per horse. You do not have to run all three to qualify for average but average is still accumulated from the three events.
ONE Saddle Side Pot! Saddle donated by Canby Games 🥰(Barrels only and roll time from class) $25 to roll your Barrel time to the side pot. You do not have to enter all of the events to enter the side pot, just pay the Barrels fee per horse, the $10 office fee per horse and the $25 side pot roll for each!
Example: 1 horse/rider entry would be $100 for the day! Plus $25 if you choose to roll your barrels time and enter the saddle side pot!
No class jumping! Meaning if you do bring multiple horses, they all must be entered with you in your age class, cannot enter one in open and one in age class!

**Since this is the last show of our Spring Series, just a couple reminders for our current members:

*You must attend 2 out of 3 shows in one series (on the same horse unless a vet note was provided warranting the switch) for your points to count!

*If a member has only attended one, then those points will be taken out of that show and points for other members in that class will be updated.
We get this question a lot as to why members points don't quite match up with what you guys may have, this is the reason.
Also for each show that has non members in a class, even though the non members points count towards daily prizes, they are taken out of the specific show for series points since they do not count as they are not members.
This is also the reason we do not post series points for all to see, since they change especially for the 3rd show, we like to keep series top 5 a mystery until we hand out prizes, so if you think you may be in the running for top 5 in your class and you've attended even just one show, this is your chance to keep those points and possibly get top 5 for the series, otherwise if you have only came to one and are not coming to this one, your points will be taken out and others updated :)
