With your help we support the Canby Public Library programs and services.
The Friends of the Canby Public Library raise funds to pay for the programs that are provided for children, teens, adults and families at the Canby library throughout the year. We raise these funds by selling your donated books, magazines and dvd’s in our Book Garden Book Store and presenting events throughout the year such as the Christmas Tour of Homes and the Great Backyard and Patio Tour in the summer.
The Friends Of The Library (FOL) consist of a Board of Directors of up to 10 members and these are the people who make things happen behind the scenes. But the most important people are the members of FOL, the ones who renew their “Friendship” each calendar year. Each of our Friends brings support in whatever manner they choose. They may simply pay their annual Friendship dues, volunteer in the library, help at events, buy books, etc. in the Book Garden or donate to the Book Garden their gently used reading material.
