CONSOL Energy was proud to support the 30th Annual Big Mac Open benefiting
Ronald McDonald House Charities of Pittsburgh and Morgantown. This year’s outing took place on Monday, June 19, at the Valley Brook Country Club in McMurray, PA, with six CONSOL teams participating.
The outing raised over $100,000 for Ronald McDonald House Charities Pittsburgh and Morgantown and their mission to provide families with seriously ill children a “home away from home” when seeking medical treatment.
CONSOL Energy would like to wish everyone a fun and safe Independence Day!
CONSOL Energy is forever grateful to those who gave their lives serving and protecting our country, and to those who fight for us today.
On Saturday, May 13, a group of CONSOL Energy employees, their families, and friends came together to participate in the annual Highmark Walk for a Healthy Community — making a difference, one step at a time.
With a passion to serve the community in which we live and work, we raised $7,835 in support of The Ronald McDonald House Charities.
We enjoyed the time spent together as a team, and it was a joy being able to put our “energy” into bettering the lives of others.

Congratulations to General Counsel Martha Wiegand for being honored as a 2023 Woman of Distinction in the Field of Corporate Law by Girl Scouts Western Pennsylvania.
The Girl Scouts’ mission is to “build girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place,” and Martha is a fine example of such a person. We’re thankful for all she does for us and know that she is very deserving of this award.
This past weekend, CONSOL Cares participated as a sponsor for CASA of Greene County’s 3rd Annual Dodgeball Tournament. CASA’s mission is to advocate for children in serious cases of abuse and neglect while involved in dependency court proceedings. They do so by training Court Appointed Special Advocates who help shepherd children through the court system (greenecountycasa.org).
All proceeds from the event went directly to this mission. CONSOL had three teams participate — two from our Enlow Fork Mine and one from our corporate office. Unfortunately, none of our teams left as champions, but we all hung in there pretty well! It was an honor for all of us to come together among many other local businesses and play a part in creating hope in the lives of children in our community.
With perfect weather, 350 registered youth, and an estimated 300-400 family members in attendance, the third annual Outflow, Inc. Youth Trout Tangle was an overwhelming success!

We’d like to send a big thank you out to Outflow, Inc for hosting another great opportunity for youth and families to get outside and experience the fun of the great outdoors.
At CONSOL Energy, we take our responsibility to the environment very seriously, not just on Earth Day but every day of the year.
