This week our TEAM and some leaders are out of town attending the Summit. The Summit is an intense couple days of CR related activities. There are many classes, testimonies, learning and fellowship events. It is geared towards increasing recovery at the individual level but also at the CR group level. They will bring back what they learned, what moved them and what God spoke to them about; all to further all of our recoveries. This is part of what our offerings and fundraisers go towards. So that all brings me to this- We currently have our summer bottle/can drive going. If you feel led to, bring your returnables to CR and there will be a blue barrel outside the chapel doors. Just put them in there and they will be returned and donated towards the CR ministry.

Happy early independence day! It's great celebrating America's independence but let's always be thankful for the blessing of true freedom through Christ!
Let's also be prepared this holiday. Holiday's can be full of triggers, from get togethers to being alone- triggers will be there and pile up. Call your recovery crew, send one another a check up text, if nothing else works- message this page.
This week we will start our can drive as part of a way to raise funds to continue our mission to be self-supporting. These funds help train leaders with conferences, help cover food costs and provide means to do special events like our anniversary celebration.
There will be a barrel to place any bottles that are returnable for deposit and the plan is to accept them up til September.
The inventory can be ohhh so tough, hard, emotional, and scary. But it will all be worth it, every last bit of it. Pray for the courage to take your fearless and through inventory and give it to God!
