We would like to thank the community that has made us feel so welcomed and appreciated, but after four great years here the time has come for us to pass the torch to new ownership. ⠀

Next week J. Shields Fine Wine & Spirits will come to an end, and we will be handing over to Wild Duck of Canton, who will be happy to continue with the same great service and programs.⠀
⠀
This has been an incredible time – from renovations to pandemics; it certainly has been a nonstop adventure for us. ⠀
⠀
Though the time has come for us to step away, we wanted each of you to know how much of an impression you have made on us, and just how special of a community that you have here. ⠀

I’ll definitely be pouring my new favorite bourbon! Super smooth, perfect just on the rocks. which is lovely and has balanced fruit flavor with a nice hint of minerality and great with dinner! The cab franc is lighter than a cab sauv but maintains great flavor, and although I’m slightly label shopping with the ink blot, I’ve heard good things and am excited to pour it Thursday!

A little Monkey 47 gin for the perfect pre-meal g&t, and I love to have some old world subtlety like with Chateau Siran’s second wine (Margaux) and Vietti’s Nebbiolo (Langhe), and of course, a bottle of Sauternes with desert! 🥧
