We're looking for local authors to participate in our open markets at R.T. Jones Memorial Library and Pickens County Library to share and sell their original works.

On Monday, July 22nd, join us for a fun time with our friends from Southeastern Grasslands Institute at the R.T. Jones Memorial Library.
We will learn about native grasslands, and specifically how seeds are spread, with interactive activities! Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult.

Celebrate the end of Summer Discovery 2024: Adventure Begins at your Library with That Puppet Guy! We will join Dr. Dinosaur for an exciting expedition of prehistoric proportions in a fun puppet show! All ages welcome. Children must be accompanied by an adult. No registration required.
Hickory Flat Public Library Grand Opening - July 25th!
We are excited to announce the official Grand Opening of our Hickory Flat Public Library on July 25.
We will have a Ribbon Cutting at 3 PM. Following will be tours, refreshments, and an opportunity to sign up for library cards.
Stay after the ceremony for an additional Summer Discovery Finale from That Puppet Guy at 4:30 PM!
