Welcome Grady to Peace Love and Poms Rescue! This handsome guy will be 3 years old at the end of July and was a local surrender. Unfortunately, he couldn't live inside because one of the humans had severe allergies, so he came to us. Grady does need fully vetted and neutered, but has been an absolute delight settling into foster. Welcome, sweet boy!

EMERGENCY INTAKE! A CRITICALLY ILL POM PUPPY NEEDS OUR HELP! Welcome Ember Grace to Peace Love and Poms Rescue! She presented to the local ER with seizures at only 18 weeks old. Physical exam discovered a weird lump in her abdomen. Unfortunately, her family couldn't provide care, so she was signed over, and a full work up was done. Ember Grace has an obstruction, likely a pacifier, and she is too unstable for surgery. Her electrolytes are in the danger zone, which is why she was having seizures. We authorized lifesaving ICU care with the hope that she stabilizes enough to undergo surgery for the removal of the foreign object. Right now, our finances are tight, and we have no space for a new intake. In fact, we have been closed to intakes for a while now, but we certainly won't turn away a deserving soul who needs our help. Now, we turn to our followers and beg for your help to save a little puppy's life!

🐾 Meet Colby Jack, the cutest little doggy! This 3-year-old, 6lb ball of energy is playful and friendly, but would do best in a home without children. He prefers the company of female dogs and can be a bit of a bully to some males, but he does get along with others. We're working on some behavior issues as he hasn't had much discipline, but we're hoping he'll break his bad habits and become the good boy we know he is! It's time for a Louie update! This little champ is now 4.5 weeks post-op from his vertebrae stabilization surgery, and guess what? He's doing great! When Louie first joined us, he had lost the ability to walk due to AA instability, like he had just left a wild party (no judgment, Louie). Since surgery, he's back to doing all the normal dog things, and that's what counts! Sometimes he takes a tumble, but he's back on his paws in no time. Soon, his neck brace will be off, and he'll be ready for adoption!

Now, about Louie's special needs: He's 1.5 years old and needs an adopter who's ready for some unique quirks. First off, Louie's gotta stay off the furniture to avoid any oopsie-daisy moments. And it's best if he's not surrounded by big, bouncy pups who might accidentally bowl him over. He's a big fan of other small dogs and gets along just fine with thoughtful larger ones. Louie's perfect adopter won't mind his quirky walk and will ensure he has safe spaces to run, walk, and play to his heart's content! Oh, and about his thing with men?
