Our Story

Microblading is a technique that may be used to improve or create eyebrow definition, to cover gaps of lost hair, to extend the eyebrows, or even as a full reconstruction if the brows have little or no hair. Each microblading stroke is applied individually, allowing the tattoo artist to control of the shape, color and density of the completed eyebrows.

Microblading is done using a very fine disposable blade to deposit pigments into the epidermis. More superficial than tattooing and impacting color closer to the top skin surface strokes appear and remain crisp and extremely fine.

The microblading procedure begins with a consultation where
we sit down and work with each client to shape their brows with a pencil, this allows us to agree on the best shape to fit each individual face and create the clients desired look.

The color choice is client specific and is mixed using a selection of semi-permanent micropigments to complement hair color and skin tone. Varying shades of hypoallergenic micropigments react differently with each skin type and fade accordingly, depending on skin regimen, sun exposure, environmental and after care precautions. Immediately post treatment, eyebrows will appear darker than expected, but will fade about 30% during the healing process over the following 2 weeks. The 2nd application 6 weeks later includes a touch up to ensure micro-pigments are healing properly and responding well.

Microblading, although semi-permanent, lasts between 6 – 18 months if proper aftercare instructions are maintained. The treatment is a 2 step application process, the initial appointment includes consultation and initial application, the second appointment is in 6 weeks to touch up and ensure longevity of the colors used.

Pre-existing conditions that would interfere with consideration for microblading would include the following
• Pregnancy
• Breastfeeding
• On keloids or if you have tendency to keloid, birthmarks or moles.
• Diabetic.
• Serious diseases such as cancer, epilepsy, autoimmune disorders (doctor's note is required)
• Circulatory disorders (doctor's note is required)
• Any bleeding disorders (doctor's note is required)
• You're taking blood thinning medication
• Currently on Accutane or other strong retinoids (must wait until 6 months after treatment ends)
• If any skin diseases symptoms or irritation appears on the area.
• You've recently had Botox or Dysport treatment (must wait 2 months)
• Old permanent make up
• You have a broken capillary in the eyebrows area
• If you have a sunburn.
• After waxing (must wait 3 days)
• After chemical peels (must wait two weeks)
