We got a nice big AQHA blue roan c**t last night by CBS Azuls Hawke (Elvis) x Sister Be Cool. And on Friday we got a cute red roan filly by Bear x Candy San Peppy. We have lots more to come this spring.

The 2024 AQHA Hall of Fame inductees have been announced! Among them is Blue Valentine. We have 2 stallions with a high percentage of Blue Valentine in their pedigrees(see photos of Blu Bear Hancock "Bear" & CBS Azuls Hawke "Elvis" below. We're expecting quite a few foals this spring from these 2 stallions. Our experience has been that the Blue Valentines have wonderful, calm, and friendly dispositions. We are happy that AQHA has acknowledged the value these horses have given to the breed!

Blue Valentine

In the 1950s and ’60s, it would have been hard to predict the effect that Blue Valentine, a hardy blue roan Joe Hancock-bred ranch stallion, would have on the American Quarter Horse industry. But hindsight being what it is, we know that even though Blue Valentine only sired 210 registered American Quarter Horses, his influence is still seen in the breed nearly 70 years later. “Blue” passed on his speed, good bone, gentle disposition, longevity and cow savvy. Few horses have made such an impact that their reputation outlives them by more than a few generations.
