She wanted more of a low maintenance look, so we added some highs and lows to break up that harsh line and melted her with a shadow root and a fresh gloss

For this transformation, we did a couple foils in the front and then rooted and lowlighted her with shades 5G to add some richness + dimension. Then we first pre-toned with 7g and then put 6g on afterwards so she keeps the richness with the couple layers of toner.

Adding some coppers and golds into a red adds a great pop to make it more of a summer color while keeping the red 🤩

I foiled the front and underneath and opened air lightened the rest (since that didn’t need as much lift as the halo) and used 6/43 6/45 and a little 6/73 for the red 🧡

We did a full Teasylight and glossed with Shades 8n 8gi 7p. Our end goal is eventually a beige blonde, but the in between sessions are still beautiful!

We did a full full head of teasylights + tip outs (pulling foils as they were ready) and then filled her with Shades 8cr and did an all over color with Koleston 77/44 7/43 with 6 vol 🧡

We started off by having her come in before her appointment to do a test strand so I could see how her hair would lift/make sure there isn’t a reaction with the box color and her hair stayed healthy. Since that went well, she came back & we did a full platinum card (leaving her natural roots out) to pull out that color on her ends. We then used a couple different formulas (a root shade and an end shade) to even her out and give her this softer look

Couldn’t decide which pic of to post so here’s three 😌 An (almost) no bleach appointment! We blended her grown out highlights with a root and lowlights and just touched up her money piece in the front and gave everything a fresh gloss ❤️

Hair tinsel is the perfect way to incorporate some fun colors without the commitment to an actual color! Plus it sparkles so what a bonus 🤩 I attach them with extension beads and they last around 6 weeks, but can be removed whenever you want!

Final day at the Chicago! Today we started off the day at a blonding and social media class by and then we explored around some booths, saw some really cool barbering by and and then we finished the hair show with an updo class! And then we got some classic Chicago pizza (which is one of my all time fav foods). Now we have a couple days of exploring the city and we will be returning to the salon on Friday! I’m excited to share some new techniques and knowledge with you guys! I’m very grateful to be in an industry I love so much ❤️
