It’s official: our location has changed to Jim Jeffers Park, Cape Coral, Florida. Due to the closing of Jaycee Park, we have decided to return to our origins! The LCEC 5K started at Jim Jeffers Park, and we are happy to be back! Join the fun and sign up today!

We will have a Run/Walk followed by a Kids 1/2 Mile (or Mile if they double up) Fun Run, Tot Trot, and awards!

Congratulations, Travis, with the Canterbury School Fort Myers track team! Not only did he win the overall male award for the 2024 LCEC Annual 5k for United Way, but was also the first person to cross the finish line with an impressive time of 17:18! We are proud of you and your teammates who also placed in their respective age groups! Hope to see you again in 2025!

Every year, LCEC comes together to celebrate this special occasion. And each time, it keeps getting better and better. Our hearts are filled with joy as we witness this event grow and evolve.

Today (January 4) and tomorrow (January 5) 10 am - 5:30 pm at The Run Shoppe in Cape Coral, participants can pick up their items and get their assigned bib number.
