IMPORTANT ANNOUCEMENT
After the holiday season, I will be taking a break from having a storefront. Moving forward I will be focusing on creating and participating in craft shows. I have many hopes for the future but for now, that's as far as I'll be extending myself.
Sewing, painting, sculpting, and so on are all things I've learned from my mom, and spending time doing so preparing for craft shows has brought me joy the past few months. Shows take the pressure of a storefront off and let me really enjoy creating. If I've learned anything this past year is that I'm running like I'm on fire toward whatever brings me joy because life is too short. I hope you all do the same.
With that being said, for now, store hours are the same and we'll have lots of deals to shop. This weekend furniture will be 30% off. (prices on furniture will NOT get lower than this) Many of you have pieces of our furniture, if you've ever thought of getting matching pieces now is the time to come buy as once it's gone, it's gone. Or if you just need something of quality for a great price swing on by.

October. Breast cancer awareness month.
I've contemplated what would I share or what would I say during this month. My mother was a great advocate and voice for breast cancer awareness and I knew I wanted to say something. But what?
On social media we present life with a candy coating. Wanting everything to be seemingly perfect for the masses to see. If you personally know me, I dont candy coat things. I have big feelings and have no reservations to share them but knowing I now am the voice of this business I struggle on what do I post. I overthink everything and want to get everything right. But I knew for breast cancer awareness month, there could be no "candy coating". There's no way to dress it up, or make it easy to digest, especially when you've had a front row seat to the damage it entails. Next month will be a year without my mom. A whole year.
Today I was scrolling tiktok and this warrior of a womans video came across with a powerful educational message and I knew this is what I wanted to share. Mammograms are important and we've shouted from the roof tops to make sure to get one but self exams are so important too! This courageous woman bares her scars to present to you how to do self exams. It is my hope that you will watch her video and educate yourself as early detection saves.

It doesn't take lots of money or stuff to make a space festive. Take little pumpkin Jack here for example. Add him to your hutch to add some festive flair. He would look great with many things you already have. Wooden candle holders, dough bowls, corn stalks, cotton stems, and the list goes on.
