Lv3 v6 to l83 v8 swap for this 2016 Silverado. Instead of going back with a v6 our customer decided to go the v8 route. Being the first time we’ve done a swap on a Gen V we were able to learn a lot throughout the process. To prevent any headaches in the future with the AFM ( Active Fuel Management ) we disabled that feature in the calibration giving the customer some reassurance.

Taking care of this 7.3 powerstroke. Diesel started mixing with the coolant due to a few cracked injector sleeves. Replacing all 8 injector sleeves, injector O-rings, glow plugs, and valve cover gaskets.

Small clip of one of our builds. This one in particular is one of our own. 1969 F100 sporting a newer crown vic subframe, fully modernized drivetrain (Ls Power 4.8/4l60e), digital cluster display. We wanted reliability without breaking the bank and can definitely say we came out ahead.

Same day turnaround vehicle came in with a no crank no start condition, customer suspected an electrical issue. Upon inspection found the power fuse for the PCM blown, with further diagnosis was able to find cause of short coming from the fuel pump. Replaced pump along with fuse and no more starting issues.
