As a hypnotherapist, I specialize in releasing fears and phobias, anxiety, limiting beliefs, bad habits, confidence-building, removing mental blocks, stuck emotions, spiritual attunement, procrastination and goal achievement.
In every session I am blown away at what the body can show us. By slowing down, becoming the observer and following our own unique trail of sensations and emotions, we are able to access deeply buried wounds. By fully allowing these wounds to be felt with presence and love, the fractured aspect is finally allowed to integrate while no longer running the show in the background. Out of these deep wounds comes wisdom and the return of our authentic selves. The self that exists beyond all of our past painful events.

Time for a vulnerable share…
Before this session with Colin at the training, I had never allowed myself to fully feel anger as I had identified myself as “calm” and “peaceful”.
So my suppressed anger, would rule my unconscious behaviors. Coming out suddenly through irritations, sarcasm, judgements, etc.
A lot of my anger came from other men making me feel small. (Although they never truly MADE me, I had unconsciously adopted that what was said about me was true)
“You’re too sensitive”
“You sound like a girl”
“You look like you’re 10 years old”
“Stop being a bitch”
Hearing a lot of these comments over and over throughout school years created deep wounds.
I unconsciously believed I couldn’t be or feel like a man.
And based on what I thought masculinity was, considering how some treated me, I didn’t want to be a man.
Being able to express the rage and anger that I had suppressed for being talked down to by so many,
I felt my true power coming back.
I feel safer speaking up.
Owning who I truly I am.
Setting boundaries.
And I now know for a damn fact I can hold space for others through really challenging experiences.
I no longer will let other people decide who I am.
And one last note,
I can’t think of anything more “manly” than having the courage to be sensitive. To be vulnerable. To feel your feelings and dive deep into your most suppressed pain.
To be a man means to be in your heart and lead from that space, regardless of what society has told you.

The only way out is through, and this is especially true when it comes to fear.

Where are you dividing yourself within?
Do you hear voices being suppressed for having a difference in opinion?
What parts of yourself are you not allowing to be heard?
Do you wish to see people speaking to one another with love and kindness?
Where are you still reacting to yourself with judgement and shame ?
Do you wish to see all parts of the world forgive one another?
Where do you need to forgive yourself?
Do you wish for others to feel safe?
How are you creating room for more safety internally?
When you start to connect to all parts of yourself with more love, care and forgiveness, you allow others to do the same.
Ofcourse, healing the world at large is much more complex, but if emotional intelligence is always at the core of our motives it is a powerful step in the right direction.

In the world of self-improvement, it is so often that we believe we have to continuously become “more” than we are. There can be this constant internal pressure to grow, to change, to bio-hack to no end, to absorb as much information as possible in the hopes it will get us closer to best version of us. In each moment, I am still discovering this force. All I know for certain is that it is not something to be obtained in some specific future. It is always here, if I allow it.

I have so much to share about my training in Mexico. It has changed the entire course of my life. I am in the process of integrating back into reality, still trying to find the right words for what took place.
For now, I can say it is everything I have been searching for for the last 15 years. It was the first time in my life where I could bring all parts of myself (especially the darkest parts) and be celebrated for all of it. That idea alone is enough to soak in for a looong time. See if you can find the space between your thoughts today
✨ If you focus on the space between each thought when meditating as opposed to trying to push thoughts away, you will naturally quiet the mind.
✨Its natural to only have a second or two between each thought at first. Practice getting to 10 seconds, 30 seconds and so on.
✨Usually when you can reach a full minute, you will be able to sit silently for any amount of time.

Resistance can come up most powerfully when we’re on the brink of massive change.
✨Resistance shows up as tension in the body. Our subconscious loves staying in homeostasis as a way to protect us from danger (the unknown future can be seen as threatening). This tension is it’s protection mechanism for change.
When you envision a habit change, a goal, or any desired future, resistance is bound to come up. This resistance can be released when we see it for what is is. Recognize it as the body wanting to stay in the familiar past as opposed to it meaning that we can’t have our desired future. It also settles down as you continue loving your desired outcome while allowing the tension to be as it is. The more you surrender to it and let it pass through your awareness without letting it create more thoughts about your reality, it loses its power.

My client came to me with a severe phobia of IV's/needles, knowing she would have to overcome it for the birth of her daughter. Initially, she was unable to sit through the process without having horrible panic attacks. After 3 sessions she was successfully able to manage the IV. All problems exist within the mind. Learning to disidentify from thoughts is a powerful step towards positive change. Within your mind there is the one that speaks, and the one who listens. Be the one who listens. You are the observer of your thoughts, emotions and sensations. When your mind is completely still, who is left, the one speaking, or the one observing? When you identify as the observer, you give yourself more space to detach from negative thinking patterns. You no longer have to believe the stories your mind is telling you because they aren’t you.
What is a negative story you’ve been telling yourself?
✨To stop identifying with this story as it comes up:
1. Take just 10 deep breaths, focusing completely on the sensation of your stomach expanding and contracting.
2. When this story or any other thought comes back, gently notice the words appearing in your mind without judging them and return your focus back to your stomach (be patient with yourself as the mind isn’t used to slowing down)
3. If there are emotions that are still present in your body, notice the emotions without attaching a story to them.
4. Become aware of the gaps between your thoughts.
5. When you feel a space between you and the negative thoughts, try replacing them with a more positive story you’d like to tell yourself.
As you go about your day, maintain your awareness on thoughts as they come up. It can also help to label them by saying “negative ego”. This gives more space between you and the thought. Negative thoughts will always have the tendency to come back. Accept them and see them for what they are, just words.

Mistakes are supposed to be made. We tend to hold ourselves hostage for our past mistakes. Wishing we would’ve done something different, not said something, chosen a different route.
✨Instead of seeing mistakes as something we did wrong, we can choose to see them as an opportunity for learning, growth, and new ways of being in the future. We need to make mistakes in order to evolve. They are meant to guide us.
✨The past never exists outside of our minds. It shows up as a faint image with words attached to it, usually leading to unwanted emotions . Why would we continue to let our past affect the present moment when all it is an illusion created by the mind?
We can gain immense wisdom by focusing our attention inwards.
✨ A lot of the solutions to our problems come to us when we sit still, silence our minds and observe stuck emotions, tension and pain from a place of non judgement.
✨We can’t release what no longer serves us when we distract our minds from our bodies. Emotions need to be paid attention to, understood, and loved as if they are their own entity. Otherwise we will carry them with us, hoping something external will release it.
✨True freedom comes from choosing to be with ourselves no matter how uncomfortable it can be.

How do you know if you’re not in full acceptance? If you can sense any sort of tension in your body when thinking a certain thought about yourself, others, or a certain situation, you're resisting.
✨We create this tension by thinking things should be different. But thinking things should be different doesn’t help change any particular outcome, It reinforces negative emotions like fear, anger, regret, or guilt.
✨How could we possibly move forward in life if we’re resisting the way things already are?
✨Finding the lessons in all things, helps us reach a greater state of acceptance. Instead of wishing things were different we are finding the positives in them. This allows us to learn from the past, feel good in the present, and not repeat the past in the future. When we’re in full acceptance of what is, we’re creating space for inner peace.
✨What are 3 things you currently wish were different that you can practice accepting instead?
