Reverse FOILYAGE aka balayage is an innovative hair-color technique that adds lowlights to achieve a darker shade while retaining some blonde, creating a natural progression from dark roots to lighter ends.

My clients goal was to create depth / dimension adding low lights & wet balayage her ends to achieve brightness. A RE \ freshing haircut to eliminate any old processed hair.

color correction is a chemistry transformation.

Placement matters but formulation creating your desired hair color goals is KEY to a successful color correction. Not all color lifts evenly. You have to take into consideration your clients hair history, chemical processes, previously colored hair, mineral deposits in the hair (this creates chemical a reaction during the lifting process), thermal damage and overall integrity of your hair is my #1 priority!
A test strand is helpful during a color correction & gives you a starting point when formulating.
I go over all of this & MORE during my 1 DAY 1 : 1 shadow experience. TAG an industry BB ready to up their knowledge & technical skills with a fun time 💕

During her consultation she expressed at her previous salon experience she didn’t feel comfortable during the process because the consultation was so vague. No Q&A.
