Side note - I’ve gotten pretty inconsistent posting here on my business page. Most of the time it is because my hands are too busy sewing or I’m creating something I cannot share until my client releases it first. Anyways, making it a goal to be a bit more active on here but just know if I am not, it’s only because I am working 🤓

For some time I have been wanting to make something “bigger” than clothing and every time I get home from sewing at festivals, I have some bright new home decor idea inspired by what I sewed on site. After the Fireflies, I decided I wanted to give Patio Umbrellas a try & here’s how the first one went!

MADE TO ORDER? WHY?!?!!! Many of you wonder why a majority of our designs are Made to Order. Here are some fun facts as to why we have chosen this route for our production.

First off, I sew all of your orders by hand, by myself. No 3rd party. No outsourcing. Mass production isn’t even a possibility this little biz 💪

Each piece has a purpose. When made to order, I know who the customer is, their sizing and preferences. As a designer, this gives me the assurance that this piece will fit them perfectly which is my end all goal.

No extra waste! By making pieces to order, this ensures I’m not creating extra clothing that goes unused. We already have enough of it littering our 🌎

Often times when mass producing, not all your product gets swooped up. There are extras that you have to deal with. Either run sales or eventually donate.

By offering made to order - every piece has a destination.
