Great experience to help get AEDs for each of their branches! This great organization is now ready to save a life in a cardiac emergency!

We had the opportunity to help Community First Bank of Indiana get ZOLL Medical in each of their branches! HUGE thank you to the bank’s Security Officer, Tyler M. Radcliff, for making it happen at this amazing organization - having the chance to deliver and train on these simple, yet life-saving devices was a great experience & it was a pleasure working with such a great group of people! These devices will help save the lives of their employees or customers in the event of a cardiac arrest!

It was so special & furthering our mission to help the Monrovia, Indiana police dept and Chief Matt Wright get accessories for their units! Love that they understand the importance of making sure their AEDs are functional! Only thing worse than not having an AED is having one with expired pads or batteries - please make sure yours are ready to save a life! ❤️⚡️

So thankful to WTHR-TV (Indianapolis)Scott Swan & Megan Simpson for supporting us with their campaign last week and to all who donated! We raised enough money to buy and donate 2 AEDs to our communities! This will save lives! ⚡️❤️🙏

We are so excited & proud to donate another ZOLL Public Safety AED & see another SaveStation go up at a Carmel Clay Parks & Recreation location on the Monon for the City of Carmel, Indiana Government! This PAD program is taking off for the city and it could not have happened without the support of Michael Klitzing David Garth Haboush Carmel Fire Department Carmel Police Department (Indiana) Jeff Worrell For Carmel, among other city leaders. This city really does stand behind its “Carmel cares about you” commitment! Also a big thx to Dittoe Public Relations for capturing the ceremony for us!

Danny O'Malia, a.k.a. Indy's Trusted Servant shares the story of his father, Joe O'Malia's first venture into the grocery business before starting the well-known O'Malia's in 1966.

Amada Starr, founder of Arise Safety & CPR shares her recovery story and how teaching people how to save lives is her true calling.

Jeff Utzinger tied up his running shoes, walked out of his home in Carmel, and went for a routine jog. Little did he know that run would be life changing, as well as life changing for a neighbor whom he did not know. The result of that morning sparked a passion and gratitude that he shares every day with his nonprofit organization Be Like Bill.

We had a hugely successful bourbon tasting event & fundraiser that raised over $7k - allowing us to donate more to our communities! This would not have been possible without the support of Tony Greene Anthony Kwiatkowski Ale Emporium Fishers Steve Schloss Patrick Blake for donating great food and amazing bottles of bourbon or without Michael Burley & Suzanne Novak- Burley for hosting and opening up their beautiful home. The night was made even more special by having NFL ref Bryan Neale tell his incredible story of being on the field when Bill’s player Damar Hamlin experienced but survived an event. Thank you to everyone who attended, we can’t thank you enough for your support!

Be Like Bill Organization Be Like Bill Organization aims to increase survival rates from sudden cardiac arrest.

We are SO incredibly grateful to St. Simon Catholic School for taking donations to support our mission during their “St Simon Night Live” theatre event & their talented group of students who put on the production! They raised over $800 that will put an in an Archdiocese of Indianapolis school, wherever one is needed! Thx to Michael Wasserstrom for understanding the importance of having one of these life-saving units at your amazing practice - and a HUGE thank you to all the staff for allowing me to tell our story. It is so comforting to know you are all ready to safe a life in the event of an event! ❤️⚡️🙏

I was very blessed to deliver and train on an to Children's Therapy Connection - it’s so great they are now ready to save a life if an event should happen at their facility - or anywhere they find themselves! Thank you to Kathy Berty for making it happen, and all the employees for taking the time to hear our story and learn how these simple machines work and save lives!

Friends of Be like Bill: in support of our continued efforts of raising money to buy and donate AEDs & increasing survival rates from SCA, we are raffling off a bottle of very rare Van Winkle Special Reserve 12-year bourbon (pic below). Tickets are $50 each with a cap of 100 tickets. We will have a live drawing on April 7th.

The City of Carmel, Indiana Government PAD (Public Access Defibrillation) Program has launched! This will give ANYONE the chance to ”Be like Bill” and be a life saving hero for any event - this great community is now even safer and I’m so proud that our Be like Bill organization will be donating to future SaveStation towers throughout the city! Cathedral works with Riley to become a Heart Safe School Northside Indianapolis high school is the second in the state to achieve the special designation designed to save lives with CPR and AEDs.

We had another great event to raise $ for AEDs in our communities! A huge thank you to River Glen Golf Course for hosting our outing at their beautiful course - a memorable day of golf, time with friends, and coming together for a cause that will save lives!

4 years…4 years ago today Bill Schlies gave me a 2nd life to live…today, on Father’s Day, it’s extra special, with a few tears of joy, to remember that this gave my 3 kids a chance to celebrate another great dads day…love ya, big guy
