Strong desire for his children to have the right environment to learn and thrive so they have a strong foundation to continue their education.
I would like to thank all my neighbors that took the time to take a flyer and talk to me at Mahopac Stop & Shop and the farmers market these last 2 days.
Please remember to vote this Tuesday 5/17.
Good Evening neighbors
I will be outside the Mahopac Stop & Stop from 10am -11am on Saturday and at the Farmers Market from 10am -11am on Sunday. Please stop by and feel free to ask me any questions as I would like to earn your vote.
I would like to thank those that took the time to listen to "Meet the Candidates" night hosted by the PTO. I hope that I was able to express my views clearly and I hope I have gained your vote on Tuesday May 17th.
I was able to get some signs around town today. Please let me know in messenger if you would like to support me by putting a sign on you lawn. Thank you.
Enjoyed walking around the Farmers Market with my wife today. We were able to get some delicious Puerto Rican food from a local cook who calls himself "Misterican" along with a peach and blueberry rustica from Brewster Pastry. They are a lot of great vendors selling local honey, sweet treats, pickles, etc. Kids were having fun on the playground. Such a great day to be outside and events like these. The Farmers market is every Sunday from 9am-2pm fon May to Oct. I hope you get a chance to stop by and enjoy.
I am so glad we are acknowledging our great teachers. It is important for us to show appreciation for those that educate our children.

I will be at Sycamore Park tomorrow for MSA softball practice from 5:15-6:15. Come by to watch. I will be available to talk after practice.
Hello Neighbors,
My name is Roger Duran and I have been a resident of Mahopac for the last 20 years. I am husband and father of three wonderful children two of which are still in the school system.
I had the opportunity to be a MSA coach for baseball, soccer and softball over the years as well as a player in the men's softball league. Currently, I am coaching both the in-house and travel U12 softball teams.
My MBA has provided me with the knowledge to work for companies such as E*Trade and Genpact LLC. I have been a Financial Planning and Analysis professional for the past 15 years and currently I am managing a $70M+ international portfolio for Genpact's Infrastructure and Logistics group.
There are two reason why I am running. The first is that I want to make sure the we are providing the best education possible for each student. We can make this happen by supporting the students as they recover from the Covid situation along with the teachers who have the training and expertise to guide our children to take the next educational step that is right for that student.
Secondly, I would like to leverage my financial experiences to find ways to keep within the budget by looking at which expenses are critical and which ones can be pushed out to future periods. One of my yearly goals for Genpact is to find ways to save millions of dollars from an already approved budget by working with different stakeholders and discussing strategies. If I can get a seat at the table I would ask the tough questions, discuss alternatives and help to keep the budget in line.
I would appreciate your vote so please feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions.
