SIX shopping carts full of donated food were collected by Carmel Rotarian Jess Vanacoro and delivered to .cap today as part of our partnership with ShopRite of Carmel. One of our clubs’ biggest initiatives is to help our neighbors with food insecurity and we are proud to bring donated items to FIVE different food pantries each month.

When you donate a bag of food to ShopRite, that’s where it’s going! With a Rotarian to CAP, Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, Gilead Presbyterian, St. John’s, and Brewster Community food pantries. Thank you for all your support!

On Saturday Sept. 7, 2024 members of Carmel Rotary joined with ShopRite of Carmel to help with the fight against hunger in our community.
Rotarians asked shoppers at ShopRite to purchase bags of food that members of Carmel Rotary deliver weekly to local food pantries. This initiative is ongoing and our local food pantries are always in need of donations. Have donations? Drop them in the big brown box by the exit of ShopRite!

CoveCare Center invites you to join us and all those who through their hope and hard work are empowered to change and find the quality of life that they deserve!

The 2024 Imagine Gala – our biggest fundraising event of the year – is being held on Thursday, November 7th at Hollow Brook Golf Club in Cortlandt Manor, NY.

This year we will be honoring the Rotary Clubs of Brewster, Carmel, Lake Mahopac, and Patterson for their commitment to positively impacting the lives of our neighbors facing mental health and substance use issues.

The evening will feature a cocktail hour perfect for networking, a seated dinner, dancing, and our popular silent auction. Our Giving Tree will also be on display again this year, featuring the many programs and services your donation could impact.

All proceeds directly support CoveCare Center’s mental health, substance use, community-based and support services, and our ability to remain accessible and affordable.
