This is Lemon Balm also known as Melissa officinalis. In MY perfect world I would have this growing EVERYWHERE!!

I never really knew ALL the benefits of this plant until last weekend and I'm about to tell you a story. (Or at least MY version)

If I remember correctly, all of the doTERRA Melissa Officinalis was completely bought out around the beginning of COVID. I personally believe all the Homesteaders, Preppers, Mothers, Wealthy or somewhat wealthy people bought as much of it as they could and I'm about to share the reasons why.

There are several chemicals in Lemon Balm/Melissa oil that are anti-viral. It's also really good or fever blisters. (TeaTree oil is another one). Get the picture?? A virus that may or may not about to take over the world.... might be a good reason to have some of this handy.

A SMALL bottle of doTerra Melissa officinalis runs about $96 to $126. That is definitely not in my budget these days, but a $3.00 packet of Lemon Balm seeds is!! It takes a LOT of plant matter to get a small amount of essential oil, that's why it so expensive. However, there are other ways to incorporate this into your life.

Almost all of the plant based sleeping, calming, relaxing blends of dried herbs and teas have Lemon Balm as a base. Look it up if you don't believe me.

Lemon Balm/Melissa officinalis is a member of the mint family and is considered a calming herb. It was used as far back as the Middle Ages to reduce stress and anxiety, promote sleep and even ease pain and discomfort from indigestion such as gas, bloating or colic. There are lots of uses for it, but these are some of the main things.

Last weekend I spent the majority of my time watching YouTube Videos about growing, using, incorporating Lemon Balm into my life and I just love sharing the stuff I learn.

My anxiety has been OFF THE CHARTS lately, so I'm planning on Lemon Balm coming to my rescue!
