After the 2024 presidential debate, Taylor Swift said, “I think she [Kamala Harris] is a steady-handed, gifted leader and I believe we can accomplish so much more in this country if we are led by calm and not chaos.”
Swift’s post received more than 2.3 million likes in a half hour and drove over 400,000 Americans to vote.
Along with Swift, there are many other celebrities who have come out in support of Former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris, including Elon Musk, Billie Ellish and Kesha.
Now, the question being asked is: what makes certain celebrities endorse political candidates and what impact can they make?

Tomorrow, on Oct. 22, all grade levels except for seniors will take the PSAT. Freshmen will take the PSAT 8/9; sophomores and juniors will take the PSAT/NMSQT. The test duration starts from 9:05 a.m. to 12 p.m. Students will be dismissed from school after finishing testing.

44 of CHS students qualified as National Merit Semifinalists and have the chance to advance to the Finalist status, with the opportunity to receive one of 7,140 National Merit Scholarships worth around $28 million.
