THE ODH STORY:
In 1957 four people gathered together to "Accept the Challenge." ODH was the moving force behind the first
architectural barrier law.
The
challenge was the elimination of architectural and attitudinal barriers that prevent
people with physical limitations from taken their place in the community, living as
independently as possible, and contributing freely to our economy and our
society. Through the action of this first small group, Open Doors For The
Handicapped was formed. ODH has been instrumental in making the country
aw
