What a beautiful room for a Commandery Asylum. Some day hope to visit the Detroit Masonic Temple for a tour.

A look at the Commandery Asylum from 1927. Also known as the Chapel, the Asylum's design was inspired by various Gothic cathedrals in Western Europe, and is in the center of the Ritual Tower portion of the building. Designed to house the Commandery Masonic organization, it has also played host to many events such as weddings, concerts, music videos, and speaking engagements.

Come get an in-depth look with our Docents on a tour in December!
