Missing kitty in Caro

Dixon Road is still open- despite the “road closed” sign. The county is doing patch work. 🙂

Another Black-legged deer tick (transmit Lyme disease) removed from a Mayville dog this morning. The pet was on Revolution (from the Saginaw animal shelter). That product does not kill deer ticks. We recommend Nexgard! Safe and effective as well as FDA approved to prevent Lyme disease.

Check with us to make sure your pets are on the proper tick and flea killers! This year is set to be especially bad for parasites. We have recently removed multiple Black Legged Deer Ticks that were picked up locally. These ticks are the species that transmit Lyme disease.

Due to the predicted storm, tomorrow (Thursday 2/23) the hospital will be opening at 1pm. This will allow our staff and patients time to arrive safely.
We will be open normal hours today.
