Our Piece of Paradise
Founded in 2013 the Island Ice Factory has changed hands 3 times. The last time was in July 2018 when Alison and Phillip took over from Dot and Leonard. We bought the shop because of our love for Ice Cream and because we wanted to make Carolina Beach our home with plans to retire here. In September 2019 we bought a home on Carolina Beach. One step closer to our retirement dream.
So far we have weathered 2 Hurricanes and now are living through the COVID-19 Pandemic. We are confident, like the Hurricanes, this too will soon be behind us and look forward to many years serving both the locals as well as visitors to this small piece of paradise.
