After losing 80lbs and changing my life I became a personal trainer to help others do the same. As a women who has dealt with the struggles of trying to manage life and keep my weight in check, I know it can be tough. I know it can be hard to find a balance between living a busy life and staying fit. My mission is to teach other women that you can work, go to school, live your busy life, and stay healthy and fit.
A quick update! Iβm a little over 15 weeks with my identical twin boys, time is flying by fast. Iβm on bedrest for a subcnrionic hemorrhage but babies and I are okay and have lots of family helping us stay content on bedrest. Iβm sad my active/fit pregnancy is on pause for now but as long as my babies are healthy all is good in my world. πΆπ»πΆπ»βΊοΈ
My next online boot camp starts on Monday and I have a few spots left for new members to join us. We will do 4 weeks, wrapping up right before July 4th.

I finally started lifting again after taking a break to get through the end of my . We are in our period and I did my first lifting workout Saturday. I still dialed back from my normal weight/intensity but it felt good to do a lifting workout. Iβve been biking and walking every day but lifting weights is just a different feeling ( ) and key to a healthy lifestyle. We usually do a workout together every Saturday and Iβm happy to get back to that routine. For those following my IVF journey, I honestly felt a little, idk, traumatized seems strong, but I felt like I needed to withdraw after my embryo transfer so I kind of backed off sharing and posting. My transfer was not a magical moment although everything went βfineβ and as expected. Iβll share that story later. Iβm feeling better now but still anxious to find out if this cycle worked, aka, if Iβm truly pregnant. Ivf is such an emotional and tough journey. There are no one hundred percents. The best thing for me has been to focus on work, getting outside, staying active, and thankfully I have amazing support from my family and friends. For all those on their infertility journey, remind yourself you are a badass warrior girl! ππ»ββοΈππ€πΌ

My online boot campers are starting week 2 of our March workouts tomorrow. Iβm going to sit this week out other than walking/biking (since my is Tuesday!) but Iβm proud of all my girls for kicking off the month strong. I was feeling strong at the beginning of the week, I was trying to check out my back gains during Wednesdayβs strength workout. By Friday my had me feeling so bloated and sore so Iβll be missing my strength workouts this week, which kills me! I know time off when needed is smart but I really enjoy my strength workouts mentally and physically. Crazy, a few years ago I took any excuse to miss workouts, and a few years before that I had never even worked out in my life! ππ»ββοΈπͺπΌπ
Today is the last workout for week 1 of March workouts in my online boot camp! My girls rocked it this first week. Iβm going to try to workout today, Iβll adjust one exercise in the workout to the lower impact option. Iβm on day 7 of my ! Iβm overall still feeling okay, doing my weight workouts on Mon/Wed/Fri (using lighter weights) and walking on Tue/Thurs. Working out helps keep me distracted and sane, so itβs a must as long as Iβm up for it. Whoβs getting in a workout today?! ππ»ββοΈ
Happy Thursday yβall! Whoβs getting in a workout? My online boot campers are doing an today. Iβm opting for walks + bike rides since Iβm on day 6. Dang already day 6! Iβm bloated, crappy, and keep getting dull headaches. Not fun but itβs still not bad overall and keeping the end goal in mind. πͺπΌ ππ»ββοΈ π² π πΆπ» ππΌ
Today is lower body + core day in my online boot camp! I was able to do my workout, I just went a little lighter with my weights. This workout had some band work which was perfect, I got the glutes pumping! Try this little circuit, 3 rounds of 15 glute kickbacks into 15 glute side kicks. Use a band or cable machine (or even ankle weights) and keep the core tight as you focus on pumping those glutes. Yay to still feeling good on day 5 of and getting in a solid workout. ππ»ββοΈ π
The things that are helping me stay βsaneβ through my are the things that help me stay sane through life in general. By stay sane I mean fight depression, anxiety, and general overwhelm. What I do: fuel my body with healthy foods, track my daily water intake, walk or bike every day (outside!!! even if itβs cold), weekly strength workouts, and keeping a positive mindset. Another thing that has felt beneficial for IVF is acupuncture and itβs something I plan to continue just for being healthy in general. Listening to your body, making time for healthy habits physical/mental, and proper relaxation is key throughout your whole journey in life. Donβt forget doggie snuggles on the daily.
Happy Tuesday everyone! My online boot campers are doing their today, Iβm going to do incline walks on the treadmill today instead to take it easier on my bloated body. Iβm on day 4 of and overall still feeling good but definitely getting bloated and crampy. Get a workout or some exercise in today, it will do your body and mind good. πͺπΌ ππ»ββοΈπ
I started my March online boot camp plan with my online boot campers today. I was able to do the workout mostly as is, I just scaled back a bit and modified one move to lower impact. Iβm taking each day as they come but as long as Iβm feeling good Iβll keep lifting! Who else is kicking the month off strong? πͺπΌππΌ
Instead of focusing on the weight of your body going down, focus on the weight of your dumbbells going up. Same home gym, three years of training later. I donβt train to be lean, thin, or skinny. Iβm training to be fit and strong. My main goal the past few years was to grow my b***y, be healthy, and be strong AF. I feel like Iβm in a good place now so Iβm trying to maintain those gains and sticking with my routine while my life is a little crazy. The last three years have been a roller coaster with first getting diagnosed with stage 4 , a continuous battle with , and then the gym where I built my business and trained my clients (and the world!) shutting down because of . What a ride! Iβm happy to say throughout all that Iβve been able to stay consist with my workouts and healthy habits. Actually getting back to my home gym life has been a blessing! Iβm finishing off my February online boot camp strong with my girls. Iβve felt good this week despite some stress with getting my medication ordered/delivered on time. Thankfully my hubby is handling it and Iβm trying not to worry and instead focus my energy on things I can control. Easier said thank done, but Iβm trying my best. Workouts help a ton! Iβll be modifying my workouts during my a bit, overall toning it down and Iβll listen to my body and doctor to modify as needed during my cycle.
