Yesterday we found out the terrible news on Anthony Cellitti’s passing. He has been instrumental on educating so many of our paramedics on Cville and this will be a huge loss for our region.

We are sending our heart felt condolences to Anthony’s family and the South Beloit Fire Department.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone from our L4790 family to yours. Station 93 companies also got to stop by the Wi******er Glenn subdivision for their 14th annual food drive. This year they collected 1000lbs of food for the Carpentersville Fish Food pantry. Well done guys!!

Another successful year for L4790 and Northern Illinois Food Bank. We successfully handed out Thanksgiving food for 150 families! A huge thank you to Mayor Skillman, Trustees Sandoval and Frost, Local 4790 members and their family members for coming out tonight to help. We also want to thank Carpentersville PW for allowing us to use their facility.

Sad news coming from our brothers and sisters in South Elgin Professional Fire Fighters Local 4833 please keep Steve’s family and his fire department in your prayers.

With great sadness, the AFFI has learned that Retired South Elgin Professional Fire Fighters Local 4833 Brother Steven Diehl has passed away.
Brother Diehl was an active AFFI Honor Guard Member who fought a courageous battle with ALS.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and colleagues.

The Carpentersville Honor Guard participated in a Veteran’s Day Ceremony at Carpenter Park this morning. The Fire Department honor guard teamed up with the Police Department honor guard. President Skillman gave a speech honoring all Veterans. The VFW was also in attendance for the ceremony!
