Carroll Golden Age Retreat

Due to all this extremely hot weather this week, we have had to change all of our fun outside activities . Today instead of our fishing trip we are having an extra Bingo day with prizes!

Hello! Kasey here! We are in need of wooden craft kits in a variety of difficulty level.

Celebrating Father's Day today with Chris and Scott Miller and Ice Cream Island, LLC Cadiz, Ohio !

This afternoon we had a couple of amazing ladies from Ohio Hospice ( formerly Community Hospice) come in and do a stuffed animal adoption event! It was a huge hit! Everyone picked out their animal, then got to name if and get an adoption certificate!

May Beth Walker was at Carroll Golden Age retreat. A few of our residents sported
their favorite red white and blue shirts for Flag Day today. Flag Day is the anniversary of the adoption of the Stars and Stripes as the official US flag in 1777

Kasey here.. Thank you to everyone who came out a supported our ANNUAL BARN SALE! We had great weather and a great time seeing everyone! A special thank you to Rick, George, Maybeth and Amanda for helping get everything ready and help keep it running smooth. Thank you to Kathy Horn and her granddaughter for coming out on Thursday to help man the garage! Thank you to Caity for coming in with mom (Amanda) to help out in the barn! Happy Friday! Kasey here! We have had such a fun and busy week! Monday we had the election board in to help our registered voters cast their ballots then headed to Atwoood Dari bar for ice cream. Tuesdays are for Bingo. Wednesday some of us headed to Crossroads Restaurant for lunch and others played candy ante. Yesterday we had the Mt. Pleasant Women's Fellowship host a quarter auction! It was so much fun! Tbe ladies also bro yght homemade pies for everyone to enjoy amd a goddie basket for the employees! Today we had a wonderful picnic in our pavilion! Rick grilled hot dogs and hamburgers; vicki mad her famous macaroni salad and baked beans and we finished off with Klondike Ice Cream Cones (and a nap!)!We hope everyone has a fun and safe holiday weekend!

Happy Wednesday! Yesterday afternoon we had a special surprise for Bingo, Emilie Boring Ayers came for a visit and brought us delicious cupckaes!
