Carroll Academy

It was a fantastic week of camp for several members of our JV Lady Rebels basketball team! They learned many new skills during the individual skill camp hosted by Delta State University. Congratulations to Emma Matthews for earning the 3-point shooter award!

Carroll Academy is very proud of Katherine Mullins and Madelyn Singleton for participating in the Girls State summer session at Ole Miss, demonstrating their commitment to civic engagement and leadership development.

🎉📣 What a week it has been for our JV cheerleaders! Despite a rocky start with a power outage, our amazing girls showed incredible resilience and spirit. Their hard work and determination paid off as they went on to receive numerous accolades throughout the camp!

The ACT PREP class has been canceled today due to a power outage in the high school building.

Our Student Council's commitment to serving the community does not take a break, even when school is out. They recently demonstrated this by placing flags on veterans' graves and participating in a ceremony at the courthouse with local officials to observe Memorial Day.

📣 Congratulations to Our Outstanding Students! 🎉

We are thrilled to announce that Reid Blaylock has been selected as a candidate for Mississippi American Legion Boys State! He will be spending May 26, 2024 – June 1, 2024, at The University of Mississippi. The purpose of American Legion Boys State is to identify young leaders and instill in them constructive attitudes toward the American form of government. We're confident Reid will excel and make Carroll Academy proud!

In addition, we are equally proud to share that Madelyn Singleton and Katherine Mullins have been selected as candidates for the 76th session of Magnolia Girls State, which will be held from June 9th – June 15th, also at The University of Mississippi. This is a fantastic opportunity for them to develop their leadership skills and deepen their understanding of our government.

Congratulations, Reid, Madelyn, and Katherine! We are so proud of you and can't wait to see all the great things you will accomplish. 🌟

Today, during our end-of-year teachers luncheon, we celebrated some very special members of our Carroll Academy family. After 18 incredible years, Mrs. Amanda Neal is retiring. Thank you, Amanda, for shaping the lives of so many young minds.
