Looking to increase your GT score for OCS or an MOS reclass? Youโll need to take the Armed Forces Classification Test (AFCT), but before you do that, be sure to brush up on your math and English skills by taking a Basic Skills Education Program (BSEP) Course! BSEP is a 1-2 week course that helps Soldiers improve their basic math and English skills in preparation for college, college entrance exams, and the AFCT. BSEP is offered at most Army bases as well as some ARNG States. To learn more, contact your State Education Office.

Community residents are invited to attend a free Roadside and Preventative Auto Maintenance Workshop at WNC's E.L. Cord Automotive Technology Center on Friday, Nov. 17, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. The one-night WCTE workshop will provide attendees with demonstrations and hands-on learning, including how to perform an oil change. Have you transferred your Post-9/11 GI Bill? If so, do you know your military service obligation end date (OED)? If you voluntarily separate from the ARNG prior to completing your 4-year obligation, your TEB will be terminated and any funds paid to your dependents will be recouped by the VA! Contact your state ESO to verify your OED and ensure you complete your required service obligation.

Do you know what APT stands for? APT stands for Army Personnel Testing and it encompasses standardized tests used to determine eligibility for specialized training and to support the Armyโs personnel and classification process.
The new Army Credentialing Assistance program virtual counseling cell is now available! This new cell was created to help Soldiers who are unsure of what credential to pursue, what they may be eligible for, or those needing assistance with submitting their CA Requests (CARs). To request counselor assistance, Soldiers must go to the ArmyCOOL website at: https://www.cool.osd.mil/army/costs_and_funding/index.html?credentialingassistance and click on the yellow โCONTACT AN ARMY CA COUNSELORโ button and complete the request.
