Carson City Public Works will be performing fire flow flushing on Tuesday, September 10, 2024, at 10:00 AM in the vicinity of Railroad Drive and Saliman Road. There is potential for periods of discolored water that is expected to clear within a few hours; it is not harmful. Please avoid washing light colored laundry if your water is discolored. Carson City Water Alerts | Carson City The weather cooperated and the Public Works' Water Division was able to complete the replacement of a critical pressure reducing valve in the Timberline / University Heights area. The work was completed in an effort to minimize the impact on our customers in the surrounding area.

Later this summer, we'll be repaving the parking lot at the Aquatic Facility Community Center at Mills Park. This improvement will enhance accessibility and convenience for all our visitors.
