2023 was filled with fantastic events and memories at The Lions Drag Strip Museum. The top events of the year included the 'Tri-Fives' Chevrolets, the Museum celebrated Ed Iskenderian's102nd Birthday with over 400 fans and 80 Gassers in attendance. Monthly car club gatherings and hot rod runs with participants as far North from the Bay Area and the South in San Diego County. The Long Beach Marine Stadium debuted with a championship-caliber boat display, 300 students from the 15th Annual SAE So Cal Student Workshops were on hand, CacklingTop Fuel Dragsters, and the new Clint Eastwood exhibit. Roland Leong made a visit to the museum for a book signing of his new book, and the 2023 Lions Hall of Fame Induction dinner and awards ceremony. The most popular attraction was the "Batmobile", just being able to have a photo opp sitting in the "Batmobile"! So, if you thought 2023 was fantastic, 2024 will be epic!
The staff at the Lions Automobilia Foundation would like to extend a hardy thanks to each and every guest from all points of the world, for making the Lions Drag Strip Museum the place to be! So make your calendars and plan to visit the Lions Drag Strip Museum in 2024...

It's been a difficult day when the word came down that legendary drag racing owner and tuner, Roland Leong passed away. Roland was a celebrated fixture around the Museum when he and his family attended several functions that attracted many of his fans and racing friends to the Lions Drag Strip Museum. Thank you Roland for all the fantastic memories you shared with us. Our condolences to Roland's family and friends. Rest in Peace, Roland
