CHEERS TO A WILMAS TATTOO LEGEND !!

I opened my tattoo shop. Wether you've heard about it or not... its cool. Anyway, one of my mentors was Sparky (Phillip Martines).
although he was 8 years younger than me he had at least 5 years more or experience in professional tattooing.
when I got interested in professional tattooing (professional equipment and professionalism ) he was the guy I went to. I didn't even know Sparky I had just heard about him. when we met I also realix]zed that he was Hector's (Dreamer WHP) brother. that was cool they are good people 100%.
Phil was a GO getter he had VISION and he had the balls to go get his dreams. I really appreciated that about Sparky. His pops and mom Big Hector and Lupe always had his back. I have never met parents that were so into what their kid wanted to do. it made men feel like anything was possible for this "kid" (with all due RESPECT)

Sparky was a great person that deserved WAY MORE recognition in the tattoo world and in OUR HOME TOWN.
Man times we underappreciate what our own brothers have done to put us on the map.
DONT LET HIS LEGANCY BE FORGOTTEN
wear his ink with pride in knowing that HE made a difference for a lot of US that came out of WILMAS and the HARBOR.

When he died, we lost a real one with immense talent but with a vision for us in Wilmas that we STILL DONT APPRECIATE TO THIS DAY.

Wilmas has AMAZING tattoo history. We are the heart of the HARBOR. lets not forget about our humble brother , just because he didn't yell out his achievement, doesn't me I WONT !!!
