Storytime: The first-born son was referred to us from one of our repeat clients, he wanted to gift his Mom a portrait session- We delivered him the Gift Certificate, he surprised her- She loved it! Scheduled session and when they arrived at our studio, his brother was our kiddos previous swim instructor! Love our community, village and the connections that we get to discover! Tonight I captured the Black History Month celebration for the City of Carson and very cool that I had the opportunity to connect with Motown legend William “Mickey” Stevenson. Amongst his many accomplishments, Mr. Mickey wrote and produced “Dancing in The Street”, which he co-wrote with Hunter and Marvin Gaye; “It Takes Two”, (Gaye and Weston), and Jimmy Ruffin’s “What becomes of the Broken-hearted”, “Uptight (Everything’s Alright)”. What an honor to celebrate him and Motown 🎶 Happy Black History Month 🖤
