📣 Notice: Movie Filming in Downtown Cartersville 🎬

From Friday, June 14th to Friday, June 21st, a movie will be filming in downtown Cartersville.

• Crews will start setting up on Thursday, June 13th. This will include placing Christmas decorations as part of the movie's set design.
• Filming will mostly occur at the “Tis' the Season” shop on Main Street, with some scenes in Friendship Plaza and nearby areas.
• The “Tis' the Season” shop will be closed on the 13th, 14th, and 17th. All other shops will be OPEN AS USUAL!

🚧 Road Closure:
• A portion of Main Street between Public Square and Gilmer Street will be closed from 9pm to 5am on Thursday, June 20th, and Friday, June 21st.
• Trucks: Please use the Old Mill Road truck route to bypass this area during these times.
• The film crews will have detour signs and message boards in the area to guide you during these times.

I have a confession to make 🫢👇

You might not know this, but the primary factor impacting your hair’s health is often your own hair care routine!!

My top 5 tips:

1️⃣ Upgrade your haircare routine with sulfate-free shampoos and conditioners to avoid stripping your hair of its natural oils. My personal favorite is a clear shampoo*

2️⃣ Embrace the power of deep conditioning treatments at least ONCE a week to nourish and hydrate your hair from root to tip.

3️⃣ Use a wide-tooth comb or a detangling brush to gently remove knots and tangles, starting from the ends and working your way up to prevent breakage.

4️⃣ Minimize heat styling by opting for air-drying whenever possible, or using heat protectant sprays and serums before blow-drying or using hot tools. If you do tend to sleep with a wet head I suggest a microfiber hair wrap to prevent frizz and breakage.

5️⃣ Incorporate scalp massages into your routine to stimulate blood flow and promote healthy hair growth. My favorite product is Mane&Fable scalp oil 🫶
