RECALL ALERT - Mars Petcare US is voluntarily recalling 315 bags of PEDIGREE® Adult Complete Nutrition Grilled Steak & Vegetable Flavor dry dog food in the 44 lb. bag size only, due to the potential presence of loose metal pieces in the bag.

This sweet baby wandered ( it appears ) down from the Zaxby’s area with her collar and leash in the early morning hours today. She is safe and cared for - collar and leash ( hammock strap) shown - no tags or microchip found. Please help her find her family. Any info please call our office. ❤️🐾❤️🐾

If you find a baby squirrel on the ground, please do not automatically assume it has been orphaned. Mama squirrels relocate their babies between multiple nests. Squirrel moms will search tirelessly for their babies. If the baby squirrel is injured, has been in a cat's mouth, or is cold to the touch, then bring it inside. DO NOT offer food, water, or milk. Keep it warm and call us to get it to a licensed rehabber.

DO NOT ATTEMPT TO RAISE IT YOURSELF. It is illegal to raise wildlife in the state of GA without a license. We get calls daily from people who have been “taking care of” baby squirrels that have suddenly taken a turn for the worst. Usually, they are aspirated by well meaning people and it's too late by the time they get to us. Please save a life instead of ending one. 💕🐾

Poinsettias are NOT the deadly flowers that popular legend has made them out to be.

This red beauty always makes a strong showing around the holidays. The sap of poinsettias can be irritating to the stomach leading to drooling 🤤, vomiting 🤮 and diarrhea 💩. Keeping this plant out of the reach of your pet to avoid stomach upset is still a good idea, but you need not banish the poinsettia from your home for fear of a fatal exposure.
