This is one of my favorites that I’ve ever painted. I have these in my yard and they are so stunning when they bloom! I really enjoyed painting this one.

I love these little 5x5 hand painted wooden decor items. I make these throughout the year for the different seasons and celebrations. I have several throughout our home; some that are permanent and some that I rotate out with the season. They also make cute little gifts. 🎄

This is still one of my favorites that I made a few years back. He calls me chosen, warrior, daughter, strong, forgiven, redeemed, His, loved!! I hope you know that He calls you those things too! That’s who your creator and the one who knows you best says you are. Can you receive that today? ❤️

It’s fall y’all! This has been a crazy busy year and to be honest, I unfortunately have not had much time to paint or flower garden which are two of my greatest passions.

This has been a season of another of my passions…leaning into Jesus, learning, allowing Him to stretch me, and growing! It’s been so good!

These are three little ‘volunteer’ pumpkins that just showed up on a vine in the middle of our yard this year. The landscaping guy just mowed around the vine. Last year they showed up somewhere else in the yard. They’ve never been planted so I’m assuming a bird may have dropped seeds. Is there a message in this? Hmm 🤔I don’t know. Grow where you’re planted! Trust God in all things! Look for Him in the moments! The goodness of God is all around us we just have to be open to seeing it!

Today, I’m thankful for this cooler weather! Who else loves the season of Fall? Or maybe I should say Autumn! While I love Spring, Fall may just be my favorite season of all. I love the chill in the air, the cool breezes, the beautiful colors of the leaves as they change, SEC football (Go Dawgs!), fall festivals, cozy night by the fire or outside by the fire pit!

Happy Monday!! I hope everyone had a great weekend. We had a guest stay over for the weekend. He and his wife are best friends with some of our family members and he was attending a men’s event very near us. It was so nice having him here with us. Also, I was able to get caught up on a few things this weekend which is always good.

With this beautiful weather I am getting ready to plant!! I love these flowers! I always like to learn where the name of flowers come from and their meaning.

Gladioli have a unique long and pointed shape. Because of their shape, they are named after the Latin word “gladius”, meaning sword. In Rome, gladioli were associated with gladiators. Some say that gladiators wore gladiolus corms around their necks during battles to help them win and protect them from death. Because of their association with gladiators, the gladiolus flower meaning is strength and integrity.

They also symbolize infatuation. By giving a gladiolus to someone, the giver sends the message “you pierce my heart” to the receiver, because of the flower’s pointed shape. Another gladiolus meaning is remembrance.
