This was the second process for breaking up years of black box dye!

Box Dyes contain harsh metallic salts and other harsh, resistant chemicals in them that are rough and tough on your hair! They don’t lift properly which causes banding in the hair.
These bands are resistant and can take multiple processes to properly and, most importantly, safely lift through!

These process take time because the hair needs time to rebuild strength in between each service. This work is still a work in progress but. We have come a long way in just two sessions!

❌COLOR CORRECTION SESSION 1❌
This girl was black headed when she sat in my chair. Her hair had bands galore in and in desperate need of some TLC!
I did a full foil, Balayage on the in between pieces. We did a conditioning treatment and cut off about 4 inches of hair.
We are not where our goal is but this is he process! TRUST IT.

If the balayage doesn’t blend while its straight then it ain’t right!
Lightened up this beauty today just in time for spring!

I’ve learned to start loving the simplicity that can be created by just a few foils! I popped in just a few face framing highlights and a few balayaged pieces throughout to brighten her right up! We also CHOPPED her hair! Over 7 inches gone! 😍😍

This sweet girl came in with yellow and orange bands all in her hair. Top that with layers of red hair color underneath and a three inch root and we had a LOT of work to do!
