First Presbyterian Church Preschool
At First Presbyterian Preschool, we encourage children to discover and explore the world that God has given them!
We have created an environment in which each child can grow spiritually, emotionally and cognitively. We strive to develop capable children who work with other children and adults to solve problems together; to nurture caring children who learn to share themselves and their things with others; to celebrate contented children who enjoy learning; and to encourage loving children who are being loved,

Our science teacher, Ms. Paige, has had lots of fun activities for the kiddos this month as she’s taught some important lessons in Science. They learned about push/pull, using science tools like microscopes and investigation skills using a possum skeleton (they really enjoyed that)😉
Ms. Peyton and Ms. Rosemary’s 3-year old classes made “resurrection rolls” to symbolize the empty tomb after Jesus’ resurrection. This activity had great value in helping students learn the true meaning of Easter.
Ms. Emily’s 2-year old class rolled Easter eggs because they have been learning the song “Roll that Stone Away” to learn that Jesus is Risen!
Our annual Egg Drop!!!
Our Pre-k families do an at home family project where they protect an egg however they choose. Then the whole school gets together to watch as we drop the eggs off the Upper Room balcony! So much fun and excitement cheering on each student and their egg!
