Last week, we discussed the doctrine of laying on of hands. Today, we will discuss baptisms, notice it is plural. Modern translations may say "washings," but the word is "baptizo" or "baptisms." The Bible speaks of three baptisms: the baptism with water, the baptism with the Holy Spirit, and the baptism with fire (Matthew 3:11; Luke 3:16). Last night, Pastor Nick spoke about the concept of crying out to God and asking Him to "Do it Again, Lord." He highlighted six key principles of the early church, including repentance from dead works, faith toward God, baptisms, the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment.
Mature individuals not only possess knowledge of these doctrines, but they also demonstrate them through their actions. They are not merely listeners, but rather they put these principles into practice. This is what constitutes Christian maturity. Stay tuned for more insights.

Today, on Parents' Day, we at The Branch NC want to express our gratitude to all the families who are part of The Branch community. We appreciate your commitment to setting a Godly example for your children, your neighborhood, and your city.
We pray that God will help you become better parents, and guide you to have patience and understanding as you listen to your children and show them love. Remind parents to nurture their children based on their unique qualities rather than based on their own desires. Encourage them to love unconditionally and to trust in God's love for them. We ask this in Jesus' name, Amen.

This Saturday, the 20th, we are excited to welcome Pastors Ben and Micah Williams as our guest speakers. Micah will lead us in worship, and Ben will speak on the topic of "Activating Introverts in Evangelism."
Ben Williams, who has personally led over 55,000 people into a relationship with Jesus Christ, will share his insights on how to do this as an introvert. If you're an introvert and interested in sharing the message of Jesus, this book is for you. Ben challenges the misconception that introverts are shy and provides guidance on how introverts can authentically connect with others while spreading the message of Christ.
