Ok, since we don't hate on restaurants we feel the need to address this.

There's nothing wrong with the Angus Barn. They have some of the best chocolate chess pie around, a cool ambience & a good steak. It's also run by good folks who do a lot & give back to the community. BUT, if you have followed us for awhile you know where to find an equally good or better steak for much less & at places you can wear your hat or that hilarious Girls 'Round Here shirt you love.

It's the people. Yea, those people. We all know one.

They talk about it all the time. "Our family eats at THHEEEE ANNNGUS BARNNN every Christmas" They bring it up in meetings, or offer it to you as some reward. "If you do a good job, I'll take you to Angus Barn, have you ever been?" Yes Chuck, we have been. The ones who hot drop it at a kids birthday party or a casual get-together like it's the only measure of success.

Don't get me wrong, celebrating milestones is important, but it's about the occasion and the people you're with, not just the steak on your plate. & for some reason, they seem to think that if they throw around the name "Angus Barn" enough, it elevates them in some way, as if their taste in restaurants is a reflection of their status or importance.

So the next time one of "those people" braggadociously post their Angus Barn meal, drop this Participation Sticker in their comments & let'em know that don't impress you much.

Well it’s that time of year again! Everyone from NC remembers this scene and with the cold weather approaching we wanted to remind y’all to inspect your vehicles battery, fluids, brakes and tires to make sure its ready for those winter roads ahead. Don’t end up like these guys 😂
