We are thrilled to announce that the Pleasant Grove Foundation's Dream Academy is organizing a contest from July 19th to August 17th. We invite you to participate and help support a future dreamer in reaching their goal. Your involvement is incredibly valuable and will have a significant impact on making someone's dream come true.

The Dream Academy, the signature program of the Pleasant Grove Foundation, will host their annual Open House on Saturday, August 17 at 10:00 am. Join us and discover how the Dream Academy can prepare your child to be competitive in today's academic and tomorrow's professional environment by participating in programs that focus on personal, social, & cultural awareness; academic & professional exploration & development; healthy living; financial prudence & community service engagements.

The Open House will be held at the Pleasant Grove Church, Family Life Center located at 1528 Davis Drive in Cary. Please invite your friends and family with students who can benefit from this exciting program.

Good morning PGC! It's time for another PGC spotlight.

This month, we're shining a light on Disciple Sean Stewart. Sean is the son of Disciple Shannon and Minister Dewayne Stewart. He is an active member of Pleasant Grove Church and a student at Voyager Academy High School in Durham, NC. Sean has always had a passion for acting and theatre. He started with musical theatre in middle school and has performed in various middle, high school, and local productions.

Sean recently made his directorial debut for The Pure Life Theater Summer Camp production of W***y Wonka Jr. He not only directed the production but also played Grandpa Joe.

Now this young thespian will be playing a supporting role in the North Raleigh Arts and Creative Theater's production of Big Fish, the Musical. He will be portraying "Karl the Giant" as well as being part of the ensemble cast.

"Big Fish" is part of NRACT's summer cast program. Sean received a full scholarship to participate in Big Fish Cast Camp after impressing judges during his NAACP ACT-SO Regional Competition in May, where he was awarded Gold in Dramatic Arts.
