Donna Scott shares about our last day in Tucson! We went to Southside Presbyterian Church and reflected on what actions we need to take when we return!

Greetings from Southside Presbyterian!

Out dispatch from Arizona today brought to you by Tim Carr. We spent time in the desert today, walking and riding along the paths of migrants. We left water in the desert for travellers and prayed over it before returning. We visited with an organization called No More Deaths that aims to prevent the tragedies that can so easily occur in the desert because of US policy choices.

Wrapping up our first full day with Borderlinks! Today, we've spent time learning about the legal processes surrounding migration, met with migrant community leaders, and we finished reading Scripture, singing, and reflecting outside the federal court where many immigrants experience the injustices of our legal system.

We made it to Tucson yesterday. Here's an update from Andy Jarrell as we begin our first day with Borderlinks! (GFBC members are visiting Borderlinks in Tucson, AZ to learn more and experience the borderlands as they actually are this week.)
