Ten Week Virtual "Healing the Child Within" workshop starts Feb. 3rd.
This ten session workshop (based on Healing The Child Within book) focuses on effects of growing up in a dysfunctional family and the healing process for childhood trauma. Participants “dig deep” into memories from their family of origin to rediscover and reconnect with the “inner child”. Through weekly reading assignments and interactive discussions, participants share their stories and connect with others in a supportive group setting. By recovering the “inner child”, participants begin to reduce the enduring effects of childhood trauma and start to heal the fear, confusion and unhappiness of adult life.
The HCW Workshop will meet virtually on Wednesdays from 7 - 9 pm. Participants will need to purchase the Healing the Child Within book by Dr. Charles Whitfield. Workshop fee is $375 and $200 deposit due at registration. Contact [email protected] or call 919-274-4742 to schedule intake appt.

Ten week Zoom Fall/Winter Rebuilders Divorce Recovery Seminar, based on Dr. Bruce Fisher's bestselling book, Rebuilding When Your Relationship Ends, starts Oct. 13th. Class will meet on Wed. nights on Zoom from 7 - 9 pm. Participants may reserve a spot in the class by scheduling intake appointment and paying $200 deposit. Tame your “inner critic” and calm your “outer critic”
Revisit your family of origin and heal your wounded “inner child”
Reconnect with your creative, adventuresome, playful “inner children”
Discard “adaptive survivor behaviors” from childhood (i.e. perfectionist, over-responsible) that are no longer working
Take off masks & become “friends with your feelings”
Grow and develop your “wise nurturer”, an unconditionally loving and accepting part
Learn how to balance your “internal parts”, integrate thinking with feeling
Develop a loving, nurturing relationship with yourself
Learn to give yourself what you didn’t get, instead of seeking this from others
Develop your true, authentic self and improve your relationships
